[NOISE OF THE WEEK] Ghost of a Gentleman release first single off Upcoming Album

Ghost of a Gentleman have released the first single ‘Just Breathe‘ in support of their upcoming album due out this Fall.  ‘Just Breathe‘ is an impressive first look at the material following their 2012 self-titled EP, which included the song Not Like I.

Hailing from northern New Jersey, the 5-piece is following in the footsteps of  post-hardcore/punk acts such as Coheed and Cambria, Brand New, Circa Survive, and Thursday.  Formed in 2012, the group is lead by frontman James Kelly, who shares vocal duties with guitarist Conor Palecek, while drummer Riley Kissenberth performs backing vocals.  Newest members Kevin Short (Bass) and James Castle (Guitar) joined in over the last year, and have contributed to an already polished sound.  With the lineup finalized, the band continues to evolve in their unique approach to Post-Punk Emo.  James Kelly, who co-wrote the single, spoke about the concept of ‘Just Breathe‘:

It’s really about life and remembering to take it all in.

Riley is currently mixing and mastering the band’s LP in his home studio, due out in early Fall.  The band plans to announce tour dates immediately following its release.
