Cult indie favorites Kind of Like Spitting will be touring with Bob Nanna’s The City On Film and Lee Corey Oswald starting later this month. Dates run 3/25-4/17.
Formed in 1996 in Portland, Oregon, Kind of Like Spitting, led by singer-songwriter Ben Barnett, regularly toured in the US and released twelve albums in seven years. They broke-up in 2006 but Barnett re-formed the band last year and recently released their first new set of music in over 9 years, via a split with Chicago’s Warren Franklin and The Founding Fathers. The split titled, ‘It’s Always Nice To See You’, is out now on Topshelf Records.
‘It’s Always Nice To See You’ is streaming in its entirety on Consequence Of Sound and is available for purchase here and on iTunes.
The current KOLS lineup consists of Barnett, (guitar/vocals), Brian Grant (bass) and Dante Johnson (drums).
