Following the highly successful anniversary tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of Say Anything’s …is a Real Boy, the band has now announced their next major venture: a full US Summer headliner performing with accompaniment from a live string quartet and a full band with guitars. Supporting Say Anything on the five week run will be Modern Baseball, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and Hard Girls.
The upcoming tour will be Say Anything‘s official tour in support ofHebrews – the band’s fifth studio album overall and second studio album released on Equal Vision Records, which exclusively featured all string arrangements, instead of guitars. This tour will be the first time the songs have been performed live with strings.
Say Anything, fronted by mastermind vocalist, lyricist, and musician Max Bemis, has sold over half a million albums of their discography and traveled the world countless times over, performing with bands such as Thrice, Manchester Orchestra and more. This past September, a live performance by the band was also featured on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly.
Ducat King presales for Say Anything‘s headline tour are on sale today at12pm local time on SayAnything.ducatking.com. Public on sale will go live on April 3 at 12pm local time.
