Houston’s alternative rock newcomers, The Rise of the Broken will release their third album, Surpassing The Signs, April 11.
The six-track ablum is a follow-up to 2013’s Stop Chasing Ghosts, and is inspired by both personal life situations and the television show, Supernatural. It expresses the evolution of The Rise of the Broken’s sound from piano-laden pop to a more straightforward rock n’ roll. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Austin Dykes (CrossFire, Migo, Escobar), of Atlanta.
The record will be available for purchase through iTunes, Amazon, and the band’s official merch store (www.theriseofthebroken.bigcartel.com) and theriseofthebroken.com April 18 and will be accompanied by a ten-city tour. The Rise of the Broken released the video for their new single, “Lucy You Ain’t Fair” on YouTube via BryanStars March 31.
