“….90s-influenced power rock…”- Substream
Milwaukee indie trio Estates is premiering a song titled “Not Now” today on Substream. The track will appear on the band’s upcoming full-length, ‘It’s Great To Be Alone’, out May 26 on Flannel Gurl Records.
Vocalist/guitarist Mike Carini tells Substream, “‘Not Now’ is about a personal relationship that made me question a lot about what I used to think I would want, but made me realize I’m content with what I have.”
With a sound that is reminiscent of 90’s alternative stalwarts Hum, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Codeine, Estate’s “It’s Great to Be Alone” is the follow-up to their debut LP titled “Gleam”. “It’s Great to Be Alone” was recorded by Shane Hochstetler at Earth Analog and mastered by Carl Saff.
