The Story So Far has announced they will release an acoustic EP titled Songs of June 17th on Pure Noise Records. Songs of was recorded at Nu-Tone studios in Pittsburg, California by engineers Ben Hirschfield and Scott Goodrich. The acoustic EP will be released on 10” vinyl, CD, and digitally. The Story So Far will also be playing all of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour on the main stage. A full track listing and list of tour dates can be seen below.
Will Levy from The Story So Far had the following to say about the new EP,
“This was something we wanted to do to keep things fresh and hop in the studio for fun. We had a good time trying out new things that were different for us.”
The Story So Far, made up of Parker Cannon (vocals), Kevin Geyer (guitar/vocals), Kelen Capener (bass), Ryan Torf (drums) and William Levy (guitar), can hardly believe how far they’ve come since forming the band barely out of middle school. Since the band’s formation, the Walnut Creek California locals released two EPs and two full lengths, including their latest Billboard charting record, What You Don’t See, and continue to tour the U.S., along with Europe, Japan and Australia.
The Story So Far, in the last six months, have completed a national headlining tour in the U.S., two tours in Europe, and played dates in New Zealand and Australia. After being a standout favorite on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, The Story So Far is looking forward to being on the tour again, this time making a jump to the main stage.
