Famined Records is pleased to announce that they have signed Salt Lake City’s progressive metal outfit Dethrone The Sovereign. While the band is hard at work finishing up their label debut, bassist Allen Barkley had this to say on the signing, “We are beyond stoked to announce our signing with Famined Records! This is a huge step for us and we’re honored to be added to their roster of amazing bands!” The band will see their lead single, “The Vitruvian Augmentation,” released on July 7th with their first full length, third release in total, released later this year. About Dethrone The Sovereign:
Dethrone The Sovereign is a six piece progressive metal band from Salt Lake City that was originally formed in 2008. Since that time, the band has released two six song EPs and completed four tours across the western United States. Blending classical and modern influences, they seek to distinguish themselves as a unique presence among the metal community. In mid-June, the band announced that they had signed with Famined Records.
