Washington, DC-based rockers Dead Professional are proud to share a full stream of their new EPYoung Hardware, which will see a release on September 25. The stream premiered via The Wild Honey Pie, who said that “Young Hardware is completely fun the whole way through, and sometimes that’s exactly what’s needed.” The EP is available to stream in full HERE. Young Hardwarefollows on the heels of their last EP Hard Hard Hard, which was released in late 2014.
The group will also be performing at Harrisonburg, VA‘s Rocktown Beer & Music Fest onSeptember 26. More performances will be announced soon.
Frontman and founder John Harouff has expanded Dead Professional this year from studio project and one-man-band to incorporate a tight power trio, playing live with the likes of Ryan Adams,Kurt Vile and Hiss Golden Messenger. This is back-to-basics rock that effortlessly blends the cool wit of classic British power pop à la Nick Lowe and Elvis Costello with the warmth and heart of 1970’s American songwriters like Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen.
