We’ve all experienced it. The feeling you get when you’re ready to put down your sword, put away your fear, and just go for it. After listening to Carly Pearl’s latest track “Let’s Go (I’m Ready)”, we are immediately swept up by the waves of positivity and infectious energy that define her signature style and vocal prowess. Not only a new release for the fast-rising alt pop artist, but “Let’s Go (I’m Ready)” is going to be part of the soundtrack of the Universal Pictures’ film “The List”, in theaters on August 22nd.
Originally conceived by the artist and composer Frank Bell as a contribution to the soundtrack of Universal Pictures’ “The List,” he knew the songwriting would benefit from the powerful voice and dynamic artistry of Carly Pearl. The team then sought out songwriter and producer Mike Abiuso, who with Pearl blew the song into a full-fledged anthem of empowerment.
Known for positive messaging through music with hit songs like “Pronoia”, Carly spoke about the collaborative process for creating “Let’s Go”: “This song was a true collaborative work! Frank came to me with a great start on this tune. He called me saying that he was working on a song for a new movie and he’d love for me to help bring it to life. The bones were there, so I added some lyrics and vocals and we brought it to our producer Michael Abiuso who made it pop!
The track’s essence is an exhilarating blend of Carly Pearl’s soul-stirring vocals, tribal drums, atmospheric soundscape, and an irresistible rhythmic cadence. “Let’s Go (I’m Ready)” isn’t just a song; it’s a sonic declaration that life is an adventure meant to be embraced fearlessly.
