After the original slasher-inspired gorefest was banned within five minutes of uploading to YouTube, riff-laden South Yorkshire ex-pit village trio Steel Trees have premiered the director’s cut of their new video for ‘Loggerhead’!
You can watch the new Director’s Cut below:
“Get this, YouTube have just banned our Loggerhead video 5 mins after uploading it due to extreme content. The f**k youtube?!” comment the band on the video’s removal “It wasn’t even public! When the sacrificial satanic scenes gotta go, they gotta go unfortunately…not bad though, considering the video was made for the eternal sum of £4.53 and a tooth pick and the single was recorded in an 1930’s butcher’s attic.”

Their chunky, driving riffs have seen the single pick up support from Team Rock Radio, Artrocker Radio, Amazing Radio, Classic Rock Magazine, BBC Introducing and Tom Robinson on BBC6 Music, whilst their previous underground debut LP ‘Attack Of The Stoner Zombie Killer Kids’ led to a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at Scotland’s T In The Park Festival.
The boys have also been busy on the road mopping up local supports slot with an impressive list of names including Dinosaur Jr, Turbowolf, Dinosaur Pile Up, Jim Jones Revue, Amazing Snakeheads, Holy Mountain, Baby Godzilla, Qemists and more.
