Matt Pond PA is excited to announce the 10 Year Anniversary tour in support of one of their most beloved albums, Several Arrows Later. The tour kicks off on April 7th at The Sinclair in Boston, MA and will venture across the US to play the album in its entirety for the first time.
A limited edition, Opaque Orange version of Several Arrows Later, will be exclusively offered on this special tour. Each night, not only will Matt Pond and crew play the beloved album in full, but also a sampling of songs from their upcoming album The State of Gold, which will be released later this year.
If the music holds one commonality over the years, Matt says, “I’m just trying to communicate with the imaginary stranger sitting next to me on the subway.” And while it might be hard to pin down all the different sides and stories that make up Matt Pond PA, that’s sort of the charm behind one of the most unique and prolific bands out there today.
In the ten years since Several Arrows Later, Matt Pond has released three albums and six EPs, toured the country more times than he can count, broken bones and chopped down more trees than you can shake the sticks from said trees at. It is no wonder that this 10 year anniversary calls for a celebratory tour.
All shows will be supported by the up-and-coming band Young Buffalo.
