Albany, NY’s After The Fall have emerged with their fifth and best album to date, Dedication, an earnest and proficiently played strain of technical, speedy melodies that hit that sweet spot between skate punk and melodic hardcore. Recorded at The Blasting Room with prolific punk superproducer Bill Stevenson (Rise Against, NOFX, Alkaline Trio), the veterans pen a riffy and dynamic love letter to their influences and friends come and gone. The LP is a dedication to original bassist and friend Brian J Peters who passed away in October of 2013.
After The Fall are excited to call Bridge Nine Records their new home and will release Dedication on CD, LP and Digital formats on May 12th. Paper + Plastick will release a pre-cursor 7inch (aptly titled Dedication B/W Indian Ladder) which features those two tracks from the B9 debut and is available for pre-order now before its April 7th street date. The song “Dedication” features Karl Alvarez (descendents) on Bass. Also Chad Price (ALL) and Jon Snodgrass on back up vocals – listen to it here.
After the Fall formed in 2000 and have released several albums across labels like Paper + Plastick, Mightier Than Sword, Shield and more. More new songs and pre-order info for Dedication coming soon.
