Following the release of their latest album ‘distant satellites’ and with performances at this weekend’s Download Festival, ANATHEMA have announced a series of UK tour dates for September.
Released this week ‘distant satellites, was recorded at Cederberg Studios in Oslo, with producer Christer-André Cederberg, with additional mixing by Grammy Nominated Steven Wilson, ANATHEMA also brought in the legendary services of Dave Stewart (Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson) to create the new album’s extraordinary orchestral arrangements.
To date it’s the band’s most widely acclaimed record with the likes of The Guardian, The Independent, Total Guitar, Metal Hammer, Kerrang, Drowned in Sound and Classic Rock Prog heaping praise on the album so far.
