The Netherland’s Best Kept Secret Festival has revealed more names to the already swelling line-up. Having announced fifty three bands in February including, Alt-J, Noel Gallagher, The Libertines, Royal Blood, The Vaccines and First Aid Kit, the festival are pleased to welcome another twenty artists.
A$AP Rocky, Ride, The Pop Group, Temples, John Coffey, Kevin Morby, Vessels, Daniel, Norgren Föllakzoid, The Coat Hangers, patten, Eskmo, Blanck Mass, Sue The Night, Kuenta i Tambu, Mourn, Cairo Liberation Front, Ghost Culture, Marmozets and Torah are all confirmed to play Best Kept Secret, which is set in the beautiful park near Tilburg on 19, 20 and 21 June 2015. Day and weekend tickets are on sale now.
Two bands that will be lighting up festivals in 2015 will be present at Best Kept Secret. The Pop Group, the revolutionary post-punk collective around Mark Stewart, last week released the first new album in 35 years out, Citizen Zombie. After last year’s performance from Slowdive, It is Ride who will be the second British shoegaze legend to play in Hilvarenbeek.
Other acts include A$AP Rocky. One of the most successful members of a new generation of rappers, having released the album Live.Love.ASAP, it debuted at # 1 in the US album chart. Temples are part of a new wave of psychedelic pop bands. Their debut ‘Sun Structures’ appeared shortly after the very first Best Kept Secret’s. Other acts include Vessels, the Leeds electronic act who have just released their third album ‘Dilate’ on 2nd March, London based electronica artist Ghost Culture, Marmozets, the West Yorkshire band who are on a huge upward curve and playing sold out tours and finally US rockers The Coathangers, who have been on tour with Trail of Dead and Turbowolf recently.
