Austin, TX quartet Boyfrndz have announced a two week co-headlining tour with New Orleans math rockers, Caddywhompus. The New Noise Magazine / Exploding in Sound sponsored tour kicks off February 4th in Austin, TX and runs through February 15th in Lafayette, LA. Boyfrndz, who recently wrapped up a run with the Chino Moreno led supergroup Palms (also featuring members of Isis), are touring in support of their critically acclaimed second album, Breeder, which was released this past Spring via Brutal Panda Records. Breeder was recorded in late 2013 at Cacophony Recorders with producer / engineer Erik Wofford (THE BLACK ANGELS, WHITE DENIM) and is available on vinyl HERE and digitally HERE. BOYFRNDZ formed in 2011 and have released one prior full-length and a series of EPs.
