JAN 08 – San Diego, CA’s Capsize will head out on a West Coast headline tour next month, with support from To The Wind and Exalt. The fifteen date tour will begin on February 13 in Van Nuys, CA. Tickets for the US headliner will go on sale at 12pm PST on Friday, January 9, at capsize.soundrink.com.
“We are very stoked to put on our own US headliner for the first time since our album was released and we could not be happier with the support either,” shares Capsize. “To The Wind is an awesome band from Seattle. If you dig bands like Stick To Your Guns or The Ghost Inside, you are going to love To The Wind. Exalt is coming down from Canada and if you have not heard them yet, take a minute to check them out. Fast and angry is an understatement with these guys. If you are on the West Coast and want to stay up to date on hard working, up-and-coming bands, you need to be at these shows.”

Capsize has been on the road non-stop since the September release of their debut full-length album, The Angst In My Veins, including US tours with Being As an Ocean, Fit For A King, No Bragging Rights, and the Common Vision Tour with Counterparts, Hundredth, Handguns and more. Capsize has also recently completed the massive, month long Impericon Never Say Die Tour in Europe with Terror, Stick To Your Guns, and Comeback Kid, which wrapped up to a sold out crowd of over 1500 fans at the final date in Cologne (Germany).
Two sets of intense live performance recordings by the melodic hardcore outfit are available now through Audiotree and Little Elephant Live. Capsize has also released two official music videos for “Linger” and “Pale” from The Angst In My Veins, that were both directed by Tyler Ross of Being As An Ocean, and can be seen now at Youtube.com/equalvision.
The Angst In My Veins was recorded with producer Jay Maas (Bane, Defeater) at Getaway Recordings in Haverhill, MA and is out now through Equal Vision Records. The album impressively debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard New Artist Chart, No. 27 on the Hard Rock Chart and No. 53 on the Independent Artist Chart.
