Toronto based 3 piece rock band Courage My Love has signed with Ohio based InVogue Records. The trio will be re-releasing their latest effort ‘Becoming’, with 6 additional tracks on March 24, 2015. Included in those tracks is their newest single “Kerosene” that you can stream now on Alternative Press. The new single is produced by GGGarth & mixed by David Bendeth (Of Mice & Men, Underoath, Paramore). Pre-orders for the new album are available now via the InVogue RecordsMerchNOW store. The band says, “We’re really proud and excited to announce that we are now official members of the InVogue Records family! We will be releasing a special remastered, FULL-LENGTH edition of “Becoming” on March 24, including never before heard b-sides and interludes, AND a brand new song! New merchandise and album pre-orders coming soon! We’re so thankful to be a part of the InVogue team, and can’t wait to begin this new journey with them. To the future!” The Kitchener, Ontario-based Courage My Love is led by singer/guitarist Mercedes Arn-Horn and her twin sister Phoenix (drums/vocals). The group is rounded out by bassist Brandon Lockwood. In the summer of 2013 the band released its sophomore EP, Becoming before heading out on the road for a full slate of tour dates that culminated in a performance at the fabled CMJ Music Festival in New York City late in the summer that created the kind of buzz that led to the band being added to the bill of the VANS Warped tour. Since being discovered in a local battle of the bands contest, Courage My Love have since cut their teeth and built their audience with fiery live performances. In 2012 they became the youngest band ever to make it into the finals at the Indie Week Music Festival not once, but two years in a row while Mercedes was voted “Best Guitarist” at Indie Week 2011. In the April 2012 issue of Alternative Press Magazine, Courage My Love were pegged as one of the Top 100 Bands To Know in 2012. In 2014 the band was nominated for a Juno award for Breakthrough Group of the Year.
