Eidola just wrapped up their headlining tour, and although we sadly can’t expect to hear new music from them in the too near future, we can certainly expect great things from the post-hardcore group. Eidola’s members offer their talents to many other acts (Stolas, Sianvar, Royal Coda, Dance Gavin Dance) which means their time is shared, but fortunately for fans, it does not impact the quality or energy poured into any of their Eidola creations. Vocalist Andrew Michael Wells offers sophisticated lyrics, exploring relevant topics with a refreshing and unique take, while new member Sergio Medina adds a burst of energy to the band’s live performances and will undoubtedly be an asset to the band’s writing process and future releases.
If you’d like to keep up with the guys and their other projects while you wait for a new Eidola album (and we think you should!), you can catch Medina (Sianvar) and Wells (touring guitarist for DGD) on tour this Spring. Additionally, keep your eyes peeled for Royal Coda’s debut album (Medina) dropping April 27th via Blue Swan Records.
