Feb. 27, 2015 — Atlanta-based progressive alternative rock band EQO(pronounced echo) have released “AIO,” a brand new track from their debut LP, Ananta. The song captures a mixture of genres — from its punk rock delivery to jam band spirit to indie rock backbone, “AIO” contains elements for all fans of alternative rock music.
The track, which premiered yesterday at New Noise Magazine, comes straight off of the band’s 8-song debut LP, Ananta, which is due out March 17. The band is set to host a record release show in Atlanta on March 27, alongside Alchemy and The Strays Of York. Advance tickets to the show can be found here.
EQO is a high-energy, new age, progressive act from Atlanta — taking over the world one song at a time. Laced with passion, raw emotion, and outright attitude, their music is smart.
Frontman Daisy Bellis had this to say about “AIO”:
“AIO” is a track dedicated to the ‘All Is One’ mentality. It holds deep reverence for unity, harmony, and the potential of humanity when hearts align and minds expand.”
EQO, a duel male-female fronted band, creates music self-described as “new age progressive.” On Ananta,** the band ebbs and flows through numerous genres, creating a totally unique sound both vocally and musically.
