Hailing from Southern California, indie rock band Halos has released the music video and first listen of their song, “Planet W.”
“Planet W” is the first single off of the group’s forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Stay Within Yourself,’ that will be released track by track, over the next several months via Mandrake Records. Recorded by Mark Rains [Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Neon Trees, Rival Sons] at Station House Studio in Echo Park, CA and mixed by Neal Avron [Fall Out Boy, Walk The Moon, Sara Bareilles], “Planet W” showcases dreamy undertones and lush soundscapes under the song’s refrain, “If we could see ourselves in 20 years, where would we be?”
Comprised of footage from vocalist Dan Lyman’s wedding in the vineyards of eastern Long Island, NY, the video is as personal a correlational as they come, with a visual accompaniment that stands alone in its honesty and elegance.”Planet W” can be purchased here: iTunes
