Italy’s Hierophant are currently at MV Multimedia Studio recording their follow-up to 2013’s Great Mother : Holy Monster. Set to be ten tracks in length (in addition to a Nirvana cover song for their pre-release 7inch), Hierophant’s yet-to-be-titled new album is “…fast and definitely intense. We went even heavier and extreme on this new full-length and we can’t wait to track it”, commented Ben / Hierophant drummer.
Hierophant have been making waves since their formation back in 2010. They’ve toured with the likes of Deafheaven, Oathbreaker, Tombs, Pelican, Cancer Bats and many more, and have made an intense and relentless live reputation for themselves. The band released their B9 debut Great Mother : Holy Monster in March of 2013, which was called “…a searing brand of no-holds-barred dark hardcore that’s characterized by bleak, unrelenting guitars and harsh, incomprehensible vocals” by Big Cheese Magazine.
New album title, release date and more information coming soon from Hierophant and Bridge Nine Records.
