JUL 11 – Today, San Francisco’s I the Mighty is premiering their music video for “Love Your Sin” – a new song that will appear on a new three-song digital release, which will be out on Tuesday, July 15.
In addition to “Love Your Sin”, the digital release will include two new studio recordings of full-band acoustic renditions of “The Dreamer” and “Speak To Me”, which originally appeared on the band’s Karma Never Sleeps EP and recent debut full-length album, Satori, respectively. The new release was produced by Erik Ron (Panic! at the Disco, Foxy Shazam).
I the Mighty will join the 2014 Vans Warped Tour tomorrow in Wantagh, NY and will perform twice daily for the remainder of the tour, with a full set on the Hard Rock Kevin Says Stage and a stripped down full-band acoustic set on the Acoustic Basement Stage.
“‘Love Your Sin’ is about being in an ill-defined relationship that you know you should remove yourself from, but not being able to do so easily,” shares vocalist Brent Walsh. “It’s about making that tough call to end something that’s not necessarily a bad relationship, but not necessarily everything you want from one. More specifically, how the factor of amazing sex or sexual attraction can complicate the situation.”
I the Mighty has just recently wrapped up tour dates with the diverse likes of Say Anything, Eisley, Coheed & Cambria, letlive., and Balance & Composure.
