JAN 22 – San Diego, CA’s Idlehands has announced their first tour of 2015. This March, the experimental indie-rock quintet will venture out on a northeast headline run, with support from Happy Body Slow Brain.
Idlehands announced their signing to Headphone Music, an Equal Vision Records imprint, in June 2014 and released their music video for “Mellow Christ” featuring Justin Bonifacio of Ghost Parade. The video is available now onYoutube.com/equalvision.
The song originally appeared on a split 7″ with Ghost Parade and will also be featured on Idlehands‘ debut full-length album, which will be released later this year. The new album was recorded in Portland, OR with producer Kris Crummett (A Lot Like Birds, Closure In Moscow), and is the follow-up to the band’s 2013 EP,Common Soul.
Idlehands is comprised of Johnny O’Hagan (vocals), Michael Brekka (guitar), Seancarlo Ohlin (guitar), Phil Di Raffaele (drums), and Isaac White (bass).
Idlehands has previously toured with the likes of Being As An Ocean, A Lot Like Birds, My Iron Lung, This Wild Life, and more. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
