LANCASTER, PA | July 21, 2015 – Lancaster, PA’s indie electro-pop band The Casual has teamed up with Idobi Radio for the exclusive premiere of “The Department.” the next single from their forthcoming EP, Lust, which releases 8/18/15. “The Department” is an uplifting pop tune with a story that’s close to the band. Here is what lead singer, Zach Anderson had to say about the track: “‘The Department’ means a lot to me. Chris, our drummer, and I were in the music department at Millersville. During almost all of our time in the department, we encountered nothing but…so many kids in that organization just talking behind peoples backs. This was one of the reasons why we had left the major. It had a lasting effect on me that inspired this song. This song is about not listening to what everyone says and what everyone thinks you should do. This is about letting go and just truly enjoying life.” – Zach Anderson The Casual The Casual (for fans of Twenty One Pilots, The Ready Set, Metro Station) are an indie rock band that blends pop, electro, hip-hop, and even latin as a self-proclaimed “amalgamation.” The band consists of Zach Anderson (singer/songwriter), Chris Arcand (bass), and Chris Norton (drums), who went to High Garden Studio in Lancaster, PA to self-produce their debut EP, Lust. The Casual has played with bands such as Panic! At the Disco, Vinyl Theatre, and Carousel Kings and headlined the Dewey Beach Popfest this year. The Department More About The Casual: The Casual is a three piece pop/electronic/rock/hip hop band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Casual was started by singer/songwriter, Zach Anderson in the fall of 2013. That Spring, Zach met with drummer, Chris Norton and began practicing there. It was in the Spring of 2014 that The Casual started playing shows. After multiple musicians coming in and out of the band, The Casual brought on bassist, Chris Arcand.
