Pittsburgh, PA | April 22, 2013– The Steel City-based indie rockers known as Instead of Sleeping have partnered with New Noise Magazine to offer fans an exclusive free download and behind the track feature of their new single “Insatiable”. The song is off the bands new full-length record, Young Lungs, set to drop on May 22, 2014. The band tapped the producing and mixing skills of Marc McClusky (Weezer, Bad Religion, Ludo, Let Live) for the new project. When asked about the inspiration behind their lead single, Instead of Sleeping explained,
“Insatiable is a song that describes a personal situation with a beautiful woman who can have whatever and whoever she wants. The big difference between her and every other beautiful woman is that she actually takes whoever and whatever she wants, whenever she wants, with total disregard to their feelings and her reputation. She has a thirst that is unquenchable. She will never be satisfied with you or anything you can give her, and you know it. But you keep letting her in.”
