On March 26th, Fender sent a diverse mix of artists on tour across the U.S. and Canada as part of the Fender Accelerator Tour. The Tour will include Night Terrors of 1927, Priory, Deap Vally, Matthew Curry, Marmozets, Waters and more to be announced. This is a new initiative from Fender which aims to tackle the challenges often preventing emerging musicians from touring. As any musician knows, getting the tools, funds and planning together to hit the road and get on tour is an overwhelming undertaking. There are large barriers to entry to tour and it can often prove cost prohibitive. With that in mind, the Fender Accelerator Tour will provide all of the resources and support the touring artists need including a customized 15 passenger touring van, marketing/promo support, Fender gear, as well as fuel and vehicle maintenance needs. Each van is also equipped with GoPro cameras to capture real-time daily content on the stage and on the road. |
