Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas are thrilled to announce the second leg of their North American summer headlining tour that will include appearances at Bonnaroo, Bunbury Festival, Lollapalooza and Osheaga. This exhilarating new group is catching the attention of both critics and concertgoers, and will continue to engage their growing fan-base by releasing an exclusive 7inch on May 19th that will include new song Don’t Take My Man To Idaho and the Le Tigre song Deceptacon. Paste Magazine is currently streaming Don’t Take My Man To Idaho for a limited time!
Jessica & The Deltas have been touring non-stop since the release of their acclaimed debut Secret Evil in the fall of 2014. With each performance, the band continues to win over music fans with songs that have critics gushing.
Along with being one of Paste Magazine’s Artists Of The Year and a Latino MagazineArtist To Watch, NPR’s Weekend Edition says, “[Secret Evil] has it all. It offers a softly strummed rootsy ballad one minute, the oom-pah of Balkan-inspired brass the next, or twangy rockabilly guitars followed by the punch of New Orleans-tinged horns. But in song after song, one thing is consistent: a powerful, undeniable voice.”
KEXP applauds the bands “fierce, riveting sound” while The Wall Street Journal praises Jessica’s “powerful, riveting voice” and compliments her as “a versatile writer.”
Paul Krugman on the New York Times said “I have no idea who recommended this, and I normally wouldn’t have thought it was my style, but there’s no arguing with sheer unadulterated joyousness.”
Jessica & The Deltas made their late night television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman. Letterman was so impressed by the performance that he raved afterward, “Wow, that’s tremendous! That’s it, no more calls! We have a winner, ladies and gentlemen, right here!” Watch their performance here: http://bit.ly/1xybltE
The band recently toured with St. Paul & The Broken Bones, J Roddy Walston and are currently on their first European tour, which happens to be a three-week run with Social Distortion. For a full list of tour dates see below.
