Lake Street Dive are excited to announce the details of their fall tour dates in the United States. Beginning on October 25 in Nashville, the tour will visit many states in the south and Atlantic, making their way up the east coast. The band has already proved themselves a live tour-de-force, wowing crowds from Bonnaroo to the Newport Folk Festival. Tour dates go on sale this Friday, August 8. The band will also be performing as special musical guests on TBS’ Conan next Tuesday, August 12.
The band are touring in support of the release of their acclaimed album Bad Self Portraits. The band recently performed their song “You Go Down Smooth” onEllen, which you can watch HERE. “You Go Down Smooth” is one of the songs from Lake Street Dive’s recently released album Bad Self Portraits, which debuted at #18 on Billboard and has found the band achieving widespread acclaim, with Rolling Stone calling them “the year’s best new band.” Their performance on Ellen followed recent performances by the band on The Colbert Report and Late Show With David Letterman.
