22 year-old singer-songwriter, Maggie Trapani is thrilled to announce her debut EP, Life of a Perpetual Quitter, set for release on July 28, 2015. Trapani’s debut EP is filled with adventure, first experiences, relationships, and living out your dream. There is a youthfulness in Trapani’s style but yet a sense of maturity to take on the world. Off of the debut EP, Trapani is set to release her debut single “Open Road” later this month. “Open Road” is a song about living with no regrets, taking that road trip you always wanted to do, and dropping all responsibilities to spend time on the road with friends. Trapani quotes “There is something really liberating about traveling with your friends and figuring it all out as you go along, and I wanted to try to capture that feeling in a song.”
Always dabbling in the arts, Trapani, also a competitive dancer, took to guitar while in high school and has never looked back. While joining choir, Trapani quickly melded the two together and began passionately writing songs ever since. With a deep love for telling stories and experiences, Trapani is ready to take the listener on a journey down adulthood. Similar to Taylor Swift and Sara Bareilles, Trapani knows how to write a song that is relatable, passionate, and real.

Born and raised in The Garden State, pop singer-songwriter Maggie Trapani is ready to make her music debut. At just 22 years-old Trapani has a lot to be proud of. Growing up in a musical family she really took to music when her dad would play old records in their family home. This led to Trapani joining choir and playing the saxophone. However it was picking up the guitar that would cement her love for music. After learning how to play guitar, Trapani sat down and began to match lyrics to the music. It was then that she knew becoming a musician would be a dream.
Trapani finds most of her inspiration from life’s surrounding, words and verbal exchanges with people. Her lyrics are honest and truthful similar to that of Taylor Swift and Sara Bareilles. In addition to being a full-time musician, Trapani has a competitive dance background and a passion for sports photography.
