Band Premiering Title Track |
We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Mask The Wretch is now part of the Autumn + Colour family. The band is bringing quality music to promote self respect, strength, loyalty, heart and passion. The music scene could use a little more of this! Their brand of metal/hardcore is unique. The Atlanta band is setting the bar higher for others to follow after. We will be releasing their full-length called ‘Age of Deception’ on June 24, 2014. The pre-order will be available onJune 3, 2014. Today the band is premiering the first self-titled single from the release. This is only a taste of what’s to come. “Age of Deception” Stream ‘Age of Deception’ was based on the way we see the dramatic decrease in morality. It is calling out the disrespect and lack of compassion people have for one another. These are problems that are seen everyday and you really don’t see anyone doing or saying anything about it. When you sit back and do nothing and just try to find it acceptable for everyone to just overlook it and say.. “oh well it is what it is,” selfishness, disrespect, and greed will eventually reign supreme. We wanted to give the people that share these same views something to relate to and to encourage everyone to stop and think.. take a look at what you are doing and how it effects people in your life. The album was recorded with Bradd Schlosse at In Motion Recordings. When we were writing this record we really had a lot of things to say, whether it be something that needed to be addressed in our personal lives, or the things that needed to be addressed in the rest of the world. So you can definitely see throughout the entire album what this group is all about. Everyone doesn’t have to agree with everything we talk about, all we would like is a chance for people to understand and hear what we have to say. We knew we wanted this album to hit hard and to be able to really feel the aggression with these recordings, and I think Bradd really delivered that and gave it that thick heavy sound we really wanted. ~Cody Barker (vocals) |
