Following a long-awaited return to the live circuit supported by friends ROAM last month, pop punks Me Vs Hero are pleased to share the video for ‘Hang In’ – the latest track taken from their new album ‘I’m Completely Fine’.
Watch and share the ‘Hang In’ video here:
Filmed on location in Blackpool, the video sees front man Sam Thompson and guitarist Bobby Pook in reflective mode as they take in the local sights and characters and reminisce on the experiences that have influenced the honesty at the core of their latest release.
“This songs means a lot to us” explains Thompson of the new track “It’s literally about hanging in there when times get bad. At one point when we wrote this record there was a three month period where I was homeless. I had three big bags for all my stuff and had no idea where I was sleeping most nights. The song is an accurate depiction of his life at that point. It’s something that, if you go through, you will make sure never happens again.”
Now, coming out of the other side with glowing reviews for I’m Completely Fine and their September headline shows with ROAM, the band are overwhelmed with the response to the new record.
For anyone feeling burnt out this week, it all just goes to show; hang in, it’s times like this you need…
