It’s still pretty early in the year, but Rise Records is showing that they have some of metalcore’s greatest artists on their team yet again. ‘Unconditional,’ Memphis May Fire’s fourth studio album marked not only the third top 10 release for the record label this year, but charted at a brilliant #4 on Billboard’s Top 200. You know, the place where they rank top debuts across all genres. No big deal, right? Wrong. Oh, but it didn’t stop there; the album launched it’s way up to the #1 position on the Hard Music, Rock and Independent charts as well.
Talk about a helluva good week for the Texan quintet.
After all, ‘Unconditional’ beat out their 2012 EP ‘Challenger’ which debuted at #16 on charts. “This couldn’t have been possible without all of your support!!” the official Facebook page read, as Memphis May Fire addressed their fans. “THANK YOU!”
The guys just wrapped up a US Tour and are heading to the UK on April 10. Be sure to catch their tour dates here and snag a copy of ‘Unconditional’ on iTunes and scream every word along with them.
