Maybe it has to do with the fact that the master mind behind this record (James Ryan) is one of my best friends, maybe it has to do with the fact that 2014 seemed God awful for releases, or maybe it’s because James may be one of the only musicians left standing that follows no guidelines and caters to no audience. The sheer pleasure and honesty truly comes through in the music and is the most refreshing thing I’ve listened to (over and over and over) in 2014. “Strobing” is streaming below.
