Mutoid Man are hitting the road next month for a few headlining shows and two support shows with . This run will follow both Ben Koller (drums) and Steve Brodsky (guitar) return from Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands, where they’ll both be performing in “Blood Moon”, a collaboration with other Converge members Jacob Bannon, Kurt Ballou and Nate Newton along with special guests Chelsea Wolfe, Ben Chisholm and Steve Von Till on April 16th. Mutoid Man will head back overseas later this Summer for appearances at Brutal Assault Festival (Czech Republic) and ArcTanGentFestival (UK) in August as well as soon-to-be-announced club shows.
Mutoid Man released their debut full-length Bleeder last year via Sargent House to great critical acclaim. Rolling Stone said the album “rumbles and soars like Mastodon stomping Queens of the Stone Age in a prehistoric Soundgarden” and it received an 8/10 from Decibel Magazine who said it’s a “fiery, nasty, riff-filled metal and punk fest of unstoppable, unbeatable energy.” Bleeder also landed on numerous Best Of lists of 2015, including Pitchfork, Terrorizer, Noisey, Nerdiest, Metal Injection, and more.
