NEW YORK, NY – July 15, 2016 – Summer may have peaked, but the reign of singer/songwriter, Taylor Tucker, has just begun, as the release of her new EP, The Leather Shoes EP, surfaces today with a one-two punch. These five tracks, packed with fervor, mettle, and brutal honesty, spin the listener in a whirlwind of emotions and place them back into the world with a vulnerable enlightenment.
With the help of producer, Michael Abiuso, and guest musician, Alex Nauth, Tucker crafted 20 solid gold minutes of charming, unforgettable music and biting, witty lyrics, akin to the likes of Sara Bareilles, Lily Allen, and Adele. From the EP’s opener, “Enough to Me,” an empathetic, string-driven ode to the insecure, through the upbeat, tongue-in-cheek title track, “Leather Shoes,” to the simple motivational message of “Take It Easy,” The Leather Shoes EP has the pop anthem for everyone to scream at the top of their lungs.
