For the clip, the band enlisted Jim Agius (director) and Tim Rose (director of photography) of Dogfilm, a collective that produces short films and music videos in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dogfilm also released a music video for Trebuchet’s “Lay It Out” earlier in 2014.
The four members (Lauren Haile, Paul Haile, Eliott Whitehurst and Navid Manoochehri) of Trebuchet met while pursuing their music degrees from Sonoma State University. Trebuchet formed in 2010. They have released an EP and, in 2014, their debut LP “Carry On.”
Recently Trebuchet played Bottlerock Festival in Napa (May 2014) and opened for Dwight Yoakam at the Uptown Theater in Napa. The band will also be composing a piece of music to be performed with a live orchestra at Sonoma County’s Green Music Center in 2015.
