June 12, 2014 –
The Wildskins, a two piece soul/pop band hailing from Dayton, Ohio features members Matty Monk and Josey McFaddin (formerly of the band, This Love). The band has set out to find a revolution, a true soul revival, bridging the gap between yesterday and today. A melody made for the age of worry. With only 1 month under their belt they were able to release their debut single “Runnin” along with a music video which scored rave reviews. Not long after The Wildskins partnered with iDobi Radio to premiere their followup single “Remember”. The new single sets the bar high for The Wildskins promising future.
Now the duo has paired with
Nylon Guys to exclusively premiere the music video for their single “Remember”. The track was engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by long-time friend Tyler Smyth of Dayton, Ohio based band Dangerkids. McFaddin touches on “Remember” by stating,
“”Remember” is the next piece to the Wildskins puzzle. We are going to continue to release songs that show our widespread influences, introducing new sounds that we have created as we evolve in our songwriting process. This is definitely a good stepping stone towards what you will be hearing from us. We are really trying to be honest and relatable with this single especially. I think it shows our versatility with pop music and that definitely sets us apart.”
McFaddin also elaborated on the future of The Wildskins and specifically on the new single stating, “We are going to continue to release songs that show our widespread influences, introducing new sounds that we have created as we evolve in our songwriting process.” The Wildskins will be releasing their debut EP the end of summer.
