Less than a week before its official release through Battleground Records, Las Vegas-based dynamic rock quintet, ONE TON PROJECT, premieres “Protagonist,” — the fifth track on their debut LP,Gizzards & Hearts — through an exclusive premiere at PureGrainAudio. Leading in with a somewhat sorrowful guitar intro, the slow-paced number builds with layered vocals, steadily driving percussion, and blazing leads, yet still remains one of the more somber and subdued songs on the twelve-track album.
