PRIMITIVE MAN: New Video Clip From Denver Misery Makers Now Playing At Revolver; Extensive Live Infiltrations Continue

Denver misery makers, PRIMITIVE MAN, fresh off a mammoth European live takeover, are pleased to bring the frowns with the twisted visual companion to the track “Loathe.” The filth-ridden number comes by way of the trio’s Home Is Where The Hatred Is EP, released via Relapse Records earlier this year.

Crowned, “…an ugly, battered, seething bastard that will beat you with a jagged piece of metal,” by Metal Injection and highly recommended, “for those who appreciate the blackest, bleakest realms of sludge,” by Revolver, Home Is Where The Hatred Is was tracked at Flatline Audio by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Catheter, Cobalt, etc.) and delivers four sordid psalms of the band’s now-signature brand of vicious, depressing, feedback-sodden severity.

Directed by Marcos Morales and Neil Barrett and produced by vocalist/guitarist Ethan McCarthy and Jonathan Campos at Dirty City Studios, the marathon, near-twelve-minute video clip for “Loathe” is fittingly dark, dismal and rampantly disturbing. Embracing violence, hopelessness, drug abuse, disease, destitution and all-purpose self-destruction, “Loathe” drags its viewers to the darkest bowels of human existence.

Feel better about your life with “Loathe,” now playing at Revolver at THIS LOCATION.

And if that’s not enough to bring you down, you can still check out PRIMITIVE MAN’s equally disturbing “Bag Man” video still bringing the gloom at Noisey at THIS LOCATION.

PRIMITIVE MAN will continue their quest for global destruction with another round of live takeovers set to commence tomorrow in Omaha. Accompanied by Canadian grindcore perpetrators, Wake, on select dates, the band will consume eleven cities with their traumatic odes, including a stint at the Maryland Deathfest, with the run coming to a halt in Colorado Springs on May 30th. From there the band will join up with French metallers Celeste, and raze nineteen more cities through June and early July before uniting with Birmingham, UK misery troupe, Opium Lord, and heading east to level ten more locales. The final leg of the tour finds PRIMITIVE MAN trudging through eight more venues then pairing up with Milwaukee sludge slingers, Northless, for a bout of dates out west. The epic journey follows the band’s UK run with Sea Bastard and European dates with Fister as well as a special one off show opening for stoner metal icons, Sleep.

“…a savage, heretical release.” – Cvlt Nation

“Unapologetically bleak and permeated by loathing and hostility, Home Is Where The Hatred Is will either leave you wanting more or contemplating teetering off a ledge.” – Exclaim
