Hailing from Palm Coast, FL – Rain City Drive are sharing their new track “Frozen” due out September 22 via Thriller Records. This single is the band’s first release since sharing their deluxe version of Rain City Drive which featured reimagined renditions of fan-favorite song’s “Cutting It Close,” “Blood Runs Cold” and “Talk To A Friend.”
“Frozen,” premiering on SiriusXM Octane, depicts lyrics of vulnerability that plays alongside an anthemic melody. The track showcases powerful vocals laced in rock undertones. “Frozen’s” chorus comes in waves of energetic dynamics showing a prominent side of Rain City Drive. The new single’s visual highlights the band’s lively stage presence, drawing fans in, making for a striking pairing between the track and the video.
“”Frozen” is about getting stuck on the wrong person. You’re fixated on the idea of them/how things could be, not the way things actually are. In the end, moving on is easier than getting over. We spent all of June writing for the new record and this track came together on the last day with our homie Erik Ron. We did songs like “Blood Runs Cold” and “Cutting it Close” with Erik so I feel like sonically Frozen is a good track to bridge the gap between self titled and the new era.” Says lead vocalist, Matt McAndrew and the new single.
