SEAHAVEN DEBUT SELF-DIRECTED MUSIC VIDEO FOR
“SILHOUETTE (LATIN SKIN)”
FIRST NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR BEGINS

Torrance, CA’s Seahaven have debuted the official video for their single “Silhouette (Latin Skin),”
from their March 25th released full-length album Reverie Lagoon: Music For Escapism Only via Run For Cover Records.
The visual, which was directed by Seahaven’s Kyle Soto, follows him through a trippy, dreamlike passage. “In my head, the song has it’s own very distinct visual, but I wanted to challenge myself and put a different spin on it.” Soto said. “I feel it adds a bit of clarity for those who struggle with understanding where the song stems from. It’s all about desire and perception.”

After stopping by the Daytrotter studios, the band will kick off their first full headline tour of North America tomorrow night in St. Louis. Some shows have already sold out, including their stop at the world famous Troubadour in Los Angeles on May 31st.
Praised for its “maturity” by The Onion AV Club, the album’s breadth of diversity ranges from songs that evoke “a crowd-surfer’s upbeat fantasy” (CMJ), to “a full blown orchestral affair” (Impose), making the “atmospherically nuanced” album a “watershed moment” for the band according to Alternative Press.
The album cracked the Billboard Chart at #66, as well as landing #2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart upon its debut.

Reverie Lagoon: Music For Escapism Only was engineered and mixed by Ben Brodin (Bight Eyes, Pete Yorn), and produced by Seahaven’s Kyle Soto at Mike Mogis’ ARC recording studio in Omaha, NE. Beyond kind words for their efforts in the studio, Seahaven have spent 2014 impressing audiences on the road while on a massive tour of North America with Touché Amoré earlier this year, and a month-long headline tour of the UK and Europe this spring.
