Florida’s pop-punk group Set It Off closed out LOUD Fest in New Jersey last weekend right on the heels of the release of Upside Down, the band’s third full-length album. Joined by Ice Nine Kills, Palisades, Slaves, and Secrets, the mini festival drew a large crowd at GameChanger World. Set It Off’s catchy, electronic driven songs lend themselves well to high energy stage antics and full audience sing-alongs, which were both in full force throughout the night. Within the first few minutes of the set, singer Cody Carson set the tone for the rest of the performance by diving into the crowd during “Uncontainable” before prompting the whole place to form the band’s logo with their hands in the air. Fans enjoyed favorite tracks like “Forever Stuck In Our Youth,” “Something New,” and a new, slower tune called “Me W/O Us.” With a well-received new album, a few years of Warped Tour experience, and an ever growing fan-base, you can expect bigger and better things to come from Set It Off!
