“Rough and tumble party-metal anthems” – Rock Sound
“Menacing, heavy, punk-infused rock and roll…York’s finest are more than ready to break out” – Big Cheese Magazine
After a storming 2014 that saw them on a US tour with Throw The Goat and their first ever Hammerfest VI appearance, York-based heavy rock’n’roll quintet The Bastard Sons are extremely pleased to announce they will be main support to legendary Californian punks Snot in February 2015 on their first ever UK tour. Snot will be performing their classic 1997 debut release ‘Get Some’ in full on the run of dates.
“We’re all huge fans of Snot and couldn’t believe we’d just finally get to see them play live” enthuse the band about the upcoming run of dates “so to now be actually joining them on the UK tour is a huge honour for us! It’s gonna be a pretty wild and sweaty tour, we can’t wait!”
The quintet will also be supporting ’68 (the new project from The Chariot man Josh Scogin) on 15th December this year at Fibbers in York and playing a show withCavorts on 17th December at Social Bar in Doncaster to round off their 2014.
Their latest EP ‘Roads’ was released on Kaiju Records earlier this year and mastered by Ray Staff at Air Studios, who’s previously worked on albums by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Muse and many more. Currently working hard on writing sessions for their debut full length album, the band will be announcing details of new material in the near future.
