The Bunny Gang (Side Project of Nathen Maxwell of Flogging Molly) premiered a new music video for their track “Sirens Through The City” on Alternative Press last week. “Sirens Through The City” is off The Bunny Gang’s sophomore full-length, Thrive, which is out now!
Transcending musical boundaries, The Bunny Gang organically strut between alternative, folk, punk, and reggae. The band’s latest full-length, Thrive, is built on the creative revolution. Following up 2009’s acclaimed White Rabbit, it’s a tight and thought-provoking combination that makes for an irresistible sonic brew.
In 2012, Nathen met like-minded bandmate Nat Lort-Nelson. The two share a similar philosophical outlook – they both believe art should say something. With this thought in mind, the musicians wrote songs including “Sirens Through The City” and “Uprise Underground,” which appeal to revolutionaries everywhere, urging an awakening, while questioning the status quo. These themes, among similar others, can be found through out their album Thrive.
