Wisconsin pop-rockers The Millenium have released their new music video for ‘Take Me’. The track is taken from the Eau Claire quartet’s rousing debut EP “It’s So Much Friendlier With Two”
Watch the music video complete with an amazingly diverse cast for ‘Take Me’ here:
“This video takes our perspective on what it is to be alive today (or if you will, the current Millennium) where times are changing and we no longer feel constricted in the clothes we wear, things we do, people we kiss, etc. They are changing times where youth runs the movement into the future, embodying the ideas of loving fast, staying golden, and living passionately. This video is a celebration of these times (and the coming times) looking forward on what is to come.
As The Millenium, we hope to move into a new era as this group to better support those who support us and encourage change as the voice of a generation where we are who we are, and we will forever stay unique and golden; in other words #TakeMeAsIAm.” – The Millenium

As newcomers to the pop-rock scene in 2014, The Millenium wasted little time in transferring their big ideas from demos into the wonderfully crafted and melodically enriched debut release, 5-track EP “It’s So Much Friendlier With Two”. Setting out to share a story through music, the release showcases a series of songs crafted to form a collection of memories and instances; of love, of loss, of learning.
With the same foot tapping infectiousness as some of the chief perpetrators of alternative-pop such as Panic At The Disco, fun. and Say Anything, the quartet’s self-branded moniker of ‘titanic pop’ hits the nail on the head as they continue to impress on a state-wide level. The band’s quickly growing reputation in Wisconsin has seen them land a number of impressive support slots across the state including The Summer Set and Hollywood Ending.
Despite 2015 still being young, the Eau Claire natives have already achieved a good deal in under two months, touring the US with Austin Jones and 7 Minutes in Heaven as part of the Cold Kids And Campfires Tour, before heading down to NAMM in California for a much commended appearance on the Venue Stage at one of the music industry’s biggest meetings of the year. In March the band released “Pine Hollow Sessions” EP – an intimate and stripped-back rearrangement of “It’s So Much Friendlier With Two”.
Latest video ‘Take Me’ offers an insight into The Millenium’s artistic growth, with the buzz surrounding the band stepping up from state-wide to national in only their 2nd year since formation.
