Steeped in the tradition of musical giants like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Jimi Hendrix, The Montauk Project’s debut full-length album Belly of the Beast (released March 25th) establishes the band as “black-hole sunbathers, Soundgarden loving doom-groove merchants with classic rock chops” (Diffuser.fm).
Featuring “irrepressibly head banging grooves and haunting melodies” (Speak Into My Good Eye) along with ace guitar work and thought-provoking lyrics, Belly of the Beast is heavy on musicianship, light on gimmicks, and “a complete breath of fresh air” (The Aquarian).
