The Weeks are winding down from a busy tour schedule in support of their 2013 LP release Dear Bo Jackson. The Band played over 175 shows in 6 different countries and wrapped up with 2014 Summer Festival dates that included Bonnaroo, Firefly, Forecastle, Wakurusa, Mountain Jam, Shaky Knees, and the Turf Festival in Toronto. The full-length follow up to Dear Bo Jackson will be recorded in August and September for a early Spring 2015 release.
The band will start out their EP promotional tour as support for Deer Tick and will continue with a string of headlining dates that will take them up the East Coast with a break in October to tour the UK and continuing with a run up the West Coast in November. See full list of tour dates below.
Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, The Weeks (Cyle Barnes – vocals; Sam Williams – guitar; Damien Bone – bass; Cain Barnes – drums; Alex Admiral Collier – keyboards) came together in 2006 and instantly came to define the sound of Southern Rock in the 21st Century – their grunge-powered, high-octane anthems rich with a bottomless Delta soul far deeper than the boys’ teenage years would suggest.
