April 25, 2014 – The Wildskins, a two piece soul/pop band hailing from Dayton, Ohio features members Matty Monk and Josey McFaddin of the band This Love have released their first single today, “Runnin.” The Wildskins have partnered with Highlight Magazine to give fans an exclusive sneak peek on what’s to come with this new project. McFaddin also elaborates on the making of “Runnin” and how the project came to be in the latest Highlight feature. He explains, “it is a revolution, a true soul revival that bridges the gap between yesterday and today.”
“Runnin” was engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by long-time friend Tyler Smyth of Dayton, Ohio based band Dangerkids. The duo plan to release a music video the first week of May with a slew of new content, cover songs, and an EP on the horizon.
