Famined Records is pleased to announce their newest signing is Canadian metalcore outfit Through Lucid Eyes. To celebrate their signing, the band has partnered up with It Djents to exclusively premiere the music video for their brand new single entitled “Echoes.” The single combines technicality and brutality on top of a metalcore foundation to create a sound very their own. Lead guitarist Ryan O’Grady had this to say on the signing and the music video, “Words cannot describe how excited we are to be working with Famined Records and to release our first music video for the single ‘Echoes’. Through Lucid Eyes started three years ago as a group of friends writing and recording music as a side project. Now that we’ve matured, developed our own sound, and have people invested in us, we’re breathing life into our dreams and we can’t wait to show everyone what’s in store.” The band is currently working on their label debut that is set to be released this coming winter.
About Through Lucid Eyes:
Through Lucid Eyes is an Canadian metalcore band from Cornwall, Ontario. Formed in 2012, the band consists of vocalist Jacob Lacroix-Cardinal, guitarists Ryan O’Grady and Zach Avery, bassist Cameron Bennett, and drummer Matthew Atchison. The name “Through Lucid Eyes” was inspired by the concepts of lucid dreaming and altered states of consciousness. In 2014 the band released their debut self-titled EP featuring guest appearances from Jesse Cash of ERRA and Carlo Knöpfel of Breakdown of Sanity. In 2015 Through Lucid Eyes signed to Famined Records and released the single “Echoes”. The members are currently in the studio preparing for their next release.
