STREAM: “A Fire Favored”
Houston based concept band Vox Vocis have given fans a sneak peek inside their upcoming debut, In The Arms of the Sun, with a brand new track premiere for “A Fire Favored” on VENTS MAG. Like what you’re hearing? You can download the track for via the premiere.
Speaking about the track, frontman Alex Vaquera comments: “It’s a song about the end of something and second guessing whether or not it could have been prevented. Writing it was my way of coping when I was feeling down in a new city.”
With a sound that pays homage to acts like Coheed and Cambria, The Dear Hunter, and The Mars Volta, the band will release their first full-length, In the Arms of the Sun on January 22nd. The album was produced and recorded by Stephen Adwell of AMR Studios, and mastered by Mike Watts (Theory of a Deadman, The Dear Hunter, Story of the Year).
